What is Wanderwood Weekend?
Wanderwood Weekend is a Nature & Arts Festival celebrating creativity, community, and the outdoors at Cedar Creek Clothing Optional Resort. Expect artisan vendors, music, games, evening highlights, creek floats, and plenty of chances to connect.
When and where is the festival?
September 24–27, 2026 at Cedar Creek Clothing Optional Resort in Leesville, South Carolina. Four days to wander, create, play, and belong.
Is admission free?
Festival programming is free after you cover the resort’s usual day or overnight fees. Proceeds from Social Council activities help support Cedar Creek’s Social Council.
Do I have to be Naked?
No. Cedar Creek is a clothing-optional resort. Guests are welcome to dress (or not) in whatever way feels comfortable within resort guidelines. The festival is designed as a welcoming space to simply be yourself.
Do I need a resort pass or reservation?
Yes — entry and lodging are handled by Cedar Creek Resort, not through this website. Day visitors and overnight guests should follow the resort’s check-in and reservation process. See our Accommodations page for links to book RV sites, tents, cabins, and rentals.
Where can I stay during the weekend?
Cedar Creek offers RV spaces, RVs for rent, tent sites, and cabins. Book directly with the resort (or their Firefly reservation system). Once you’re booked, you’re already at the festival.
How do I volunteer?
Visit the Volunteer page, enter your name and contact info, then claim the shifts that fit your schedule. You can also mark yourself as “wherever needed,” and you can return later with a magic link emailed to you.
Can I apply for a vendor or booth space?
Yes. Use the Vendor/Booths page to apply. Share what you sell or demo, your contact details, and any special needs. Organizers review applications and follow up by email.
Are festival t-shirts for sale?
Yes — there’s a limited t-shirt presale on this site. Order online through Stripe Checkout and pick up at the festival (shipping may be available if you ask). Sizes and details are on the T-Shirt Presale page.
What happens in the evenings?
Each night has a highlight: Casino Night on Thursday, Forest & Fall Carnival and Glow Party on Friday, Live Band on Saturday Night, and a Scavenger Hunt Creek Float on Sunday. Daytime brings vendors, workshops, games, music, and trails.
Who organizes Wanderwood Weekend?
The festival is organized by Cedar Creek Social Council. Questions about the event, volunteering, or booths can be sent through our Contact page.
Where can I get a schedule?
A full public schedule page is in the works. Volunteer shifts are already listed on the Volunteer board, and evening highlights are outlined on the Festival page. Check back as we publish more details.
Is there food on site?
The social council will have a volunteer food booth running throughout the festival.
Do I have to camp to go?
No, Cedar Creek offers day passes so you can choose which day you would like to join us. Daytime ground fees cover 10am -8 pm or 1 hour after an event ends.

Do I need to sign up for activities?
Most activities are open to everyone. Activities are first come, first serve while supplies last. Check with booths directly for any changes
Can I take photos?
Please respect everyone's privacy.
Photography is not permitted in common activity areas unless specifically authorized by festival staff. You're welcome to take photos at your campsite
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Dogs are welcome outside the common areas. Please follow Cedar Creek Resort's pet policies. Some breed restrictions apply.

What happens if it rains?
Wanderwood Weekend is a rain-or-shine event. Some outdoor activities may be adjusted depending on weather conditions.
Is this event beginner friendly?
Absolutely! Whether it's your first visit to Cedar Creek or your tenth, everyone is welcome. Our goal is to create a relaxed, respectful, and welcoming environment where people can enjoy nature, creativity, and community.

Open fires are not allowed.
Can I have a grill?
Charcoal grills are not allowed. Propane are allowed
What is Cedar Creek Social Council?
The Cedar Creek Social Council is a nonprofit organization made up of members who volunteer their time to plan and support activities that bring people together throughout the year.
Through contributions, fundraising, and volunteer help, the Social Council organizes and supports a variety of community activities and events, including Wanderwood Weekend, Fourth of July activities, the Chili Cook-Off, indoor Valentine’s pool parties, and other seasonal gatherings.
Money raised through Social Council activities goes back into supporting these events and helping make future activities possible.
At its heart, the Social Council is members volunteering, working together, and creating opportunities for people to gather, participate, and have fun.
